The City Acupuncture forum took place in Zagreb on April 24, 2014. The conference was focused on a broader insight and analytical reflection on emerging cultural, social, and political urban practices, all using new participative methods in shaping and improving our living environment. This new generation of urban creative force, commonly working in multidisciplinary teams, deals flexibly with the existing city, changing it from within and showing us that social change can happen through design. →


Last Friday, October 11th 2013, the final presentation of intervention proposals from the last City Acupuncture workshop was held in elementary school Marjan in Split. →


The last, but not least, City Acupuncture workshop is being held this week in Split. The focus of the workshop is the district Varos, and over 40 participants and mentors will analyze and elaborate the possible interventions which will bring urban and social contributions to this Split area. →

City Acupuncture team officially invites young professionals to get involved in the international project City Acupuncture (Akupunktura grada) within the European Culture Programme 2007-2013 through participation in workshop which will be held in Split from 7th to 11th October 2013. Split is the last workshop in the series! →


Before the upcoming workshop in Split, realization of City Acupuncture interventions in Zagreb - Trnje slowly entered the final phase. Intensive work on implementation of the planned realizations will be completed in September followed by a tour, various events and workshops will be held, as well as a fair and concerts. →


The first City Acupuncture intervention from the interdisciplinary workshop held in October last year in Belgrade, came to life these days in Savamala. →


The final presentation of the City Acupuncture Sarajevo workshop proposals was held in Sarajevo at the Public Room premises in Podbistrik last Friday April 5th 2013, which after Skopje, Belgrade and Zagreb completed the fourth and forelast workshop in the City Acupuncture project. Sarajevo workshop, as in previous workshops, gathered about 40 young professionals from Zagreb, Split, Sarajevo, Skopje, Belgrade and other cities - Banja Luka, Dubica Kaknja, Pancevo and Porec, showing increasing visibility and interest for City Acupuncture workshops. →

The final presentation of the Zagreb workshop proposals was held at the premises of local municipality Trnjanska Savica last Thursday, February 28th 2013, which completed the third workshop in the series within the City Acupuncture project. →

In the open call to Zagreb neighborhoods to cooperate in the City Acupuncture project, the city district Trnje was selected, which achieved the highest score in the selection process. →


Last week, on November 27th, City Acupunture project was presented at the international conference "Culture in Vojvodina as a part of creative Europe - perspective, visions, opportunities ", held in the Main Parliament hall of the AP of Vojvodina in Novi Sad. →

The first working meeting of all partners in the project of City Acupuncture, which earlier this year received funding from the European Comission Culture Programme 2007-2013, was held at theZagreb Society of Architects on Thursday and Friday, the 26th and 27 July 2012. →


In collaboration with Public Room Sarajevo and Skopje, Cultural Front Belgrade and Split Society of Architects, Zagreb Society of Architects enrolled the City Acupuncture project for support of EU funds in the Culture Programme 2007-2013 in October 2011. At the recent grading, the project received excellent 93 out of 100 possible points, and thus gained financial support and resources for the implementation of the project. →
